I wanted to Apologize for the extra code at the bottom of the last newsletter. I forgot to update some settings and some of the old coding decided to display itself from my advertising manager program. I wanted to make sure everyone knows it is not something bad or malicious. The error has been fixed and as always thank you for being on the CATT Newsletter email list as we continually improve on our website and newsletter technology. Hey CATT Pongers, First: The Schedule: After considering all the factors, we have decided it will be best to stop CATT play over the summer months of July and August. We will pick up again in September, probably the first or second Friday evening. We will verify that in mid August and let you all know. Ivan, John and Chris. Second: The Announcement: After 22 years, I (Ivan) have decided it is time to turn the President's job over to younger blood. John has been very faithful for many years serving as Vice Pres and Treasurer. He has agreed to take the Presidents job, and retain the Treasurers job. Chris, who also has been a great help over the years has agreed to take the Vice Presidents job. I will remain an officer, serving as the club Secretary. As we are a sanctioned USATT Club, the proper paperwork to USATT home office in Colorado Springs has been submitted to effect this change. Hereafter, the newsletters you receive will be coming from John. I want to thank everyone who has been coming to the club and helps make it a success. We have provided a great table tennis venue all these years fo r literally Hundreds of players of all ages and skill levels, and plan on continuing that venture. I am sure you all will give John and Chris the same wonderful cooperation and support you have given me, and again, I sincerely thank you for that. And I especially want to thank the Carlisle "Stuart" Community Center for all the support they have supplied these past 10 years, and we look forward to continuing that relationship. OK Pongers, I JUST got the word. The gym IS available this Friday. We WILL be playing. Again, if the attendance keeps up we will plan on continuing in July and August. Assuming attendance continues, we will get July's schedule on the 21st. - next Monday and send the schedule. Have a great week and see ya' Friday evening. Ivan, John and Chris. |

Hey Pongers, So sorry. We thought we would know by the 15th, but I have made several calls and emails to the P&R today, including just before 5PM - and they Still cannot give a definitive answer about the gym being available, because of a pending wedding party. Just to let you know, tomorrow I will keep trying until I get a definite answer, so just hang loose if you can. I will send you all the answer as soon as I get it. Ivan |

Hey Pongers, Time does fly and TT for May is finished. For June we will be playing for sure on 3 of the 4 Friday evenings. The 18th at this point is a question mark - because of a "kind of" - "maybe" - "perhaps" - wedding party. I will know for sure closer to the time and will let you know as soon as I do. We are still having a good attendance, so come on out and join the fun and experience of ponging with a variety of players. Playing dates in JUNE: 4 11 18 ??? 25 Have a WONDERFUL Holiday weekend.
